Creative Research Fellow Position

Edith Cowan University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Research Fellow to join our School of Arts and Humanities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing innovative research projects that integrate technological experimentation.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, 3-year fixed-term position, offering a salary of $113,918 to $134,596 p.a (ALEVB) plus 17% University superannuation contribution. You will be based at our Mount Lawley campus, with opportunities to work with colleagues across a range of disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative research projects that integrate technological experimentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create new and exciting artistic works.
- Communicate and translate artistic processes and outputs to a wide range of audiences.
- Develop and sustain productive partnerships with creative and community organisations.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum for creative production units at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
To be considered for this position, you will require a record of creative work that integrates technological experimentation. You may hold a PhD in a relevant discipline or be able to demonstrate substantial progress towards a PhD.
You will need to demonstrate, based on past achievement and potential for future development, that you can:
- Use new technologies to create innovative screen-based artwork with successful public outcomes and impact.
- Initiate, drive and sustain mutually beneficial collaborations with peers and learners to create work, with a focus on capacity building.
- Communicate and translate artistic processes and outputs to a wide range of audiences.
- Develop and sustain productive partnerships with creative and community organisations to achieve high impact.
- Develop curriculum for creative production units at undergraduate or postgraduate level, in consultation with course coordinators.
- Work productively and collegially to contribute to the success of the university and your teams.
