We are seeking a highly capable Senior Engineer - Cloud Delivery to support and uplift our DevOps capabilities at Trideca.

About the Role

  • As a Senior Engineer - Cloud Delivery, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our delivery pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
  • You will be embedded within a tight-knit 6-person DevOps team and work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud-based applications.
  • Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, automating build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring efficient and reliable software releases, developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure CLI, and automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • You will also monitor and optimize Azure environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security, implement monitoring and logging solutions, collaborate closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth software delivery processes, communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress and issues, identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployments, maintain a proactive approach to identify and address potential problems, ensure that CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure are secure and compliant with relevant standards and regulations, implement security best practices and policies, manage configuration items, environments, and deployments in Azure DevOps, ensuring consistency and traceability across different stages of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth software delivery processes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress and issues.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployments.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to identify and address potential problems.
  • Ensure that CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure are secure and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Implement security best practices and policies.
  • Manage configuration items, environments, and deployments in Azure DevOps, ensuring consistency and traceability across different stages of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working as an Azure DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps tools and services.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Azure Resource Manager, Terraform).
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
