Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Provide expert maintenance support to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a wide range of maintenance duties and tasks, including work relating to potential refurbishment projects.
- Conduct daily operational and maintenance checks of all plant, equipment, and buildings to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Perform general maintenance and handyman duties or work across other trade areas within skill level as required.
- Apply knowledge of Australian Standards associated with maintenance of healthcare facilities to ensure compliance and quality.
- Participate in after-hours on-call service, performing emergency tasks as required.
- Relevant trade experience desirable but not necessary (plumbing, mechanical fitting, electrical, or carpentry).
- Previous experience in commercial facility maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
