A Cost Estimator and Controller is required to manage the cost control processes with accurate collection, recording and reporting on forecast project costs. The successful candidate will assist with submissions to funding authorities and contribute to cost planning and cost control including budget allocation, core forecasting, cashflow forecasting, cost review, variance analysis and cost reporting across the work programs.

Responsibilities include assisting with Cost Planning and Cost Control across delivery teams, ensuring integration with Planning and Scheduling, Financial Accounting and Commercial functions. The role also requires implementing Cost Control systems and procedures in accordance with established procedures across software platforms and applying project monitoring, analysis and change control using best practice techniques.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Cost Controller / Estimator on Industrial or Commercial Construction Projects; or at least 2 of those years on Civil Roads Infrastructure construction projects with any Australian State Gov't Road Authority or Australian Council (preferably in Queensland).

Desirable qualifications include prior experience with DTMR and/or any urban or regional QLD Councils, as well as experience with Disaster Funding Arrangements.
