About Smart Cookies Early Learning Centre

Smart Cookies Early Learning Centre is a family-owned and operated service with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education. Our centre is guided by the Early Years Framework and National Quality Standards, catering to children aged 9 months to 6 years.

Our philosophy is built on investing in our employees and creating a nurturing environment for our children. We are seeking a motivated and passionate room leader to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create a stimulating and interactive learning environment
* Provide physical care and assist children with daily routines
* Conduct observations and evaluations of children's development
* Maintain up-to-date records for each child
* Supervise children during play activities
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, children, and their families
* Implement and maintain the elements of the NQS and EYLF

Requirements:

* Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
* Ability to work as part of a cohesive team environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
* Completed or willing to complete child protection training
* Current Working with Children Check
* Ability to work with minimal supervision if required
* Previous experience in a similar role
