About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Judicial Support Administrative Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative and paralegal support to judicial chambers within the Supreme Court of Victoria.

This is an ongoing full-time role that plays a key part in the day-to-day legal administration of various chambers as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with preparations for hearings, including virtual ones, ensuring seamless coordination between court staff, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
  • Drafting and actioning routine legal documents and correspondence, maintaining accurate records and adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Liaising with court staff, the public, and professionals, providing exceptional customer service and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Accurately managing electronic documents, maintaining confidentiality and upholding data security protocols.
  • Supporting various chambers with routine administration, coordinating tasks, and prioritizing workload effectively.
