Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at Kowboy Bar and Grill Blacktown. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior kitchen role, with a strong understanding of food safety and quality control.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, with a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
