Junior Lawyer Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and support across various areas of law.

Your primary duties will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, as well as assisting in contract negotiations. You will also develop advice that balances legal and commercial risks, supporting the General Counsel with corporate governance and reporting, and reviewing and advising on documentation used by the business.

About the Role
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate legal professional to transition to an in-house legal environment with a genuine interest in contract and commercial law, insurance/risk management law, dispute resolution/litigation, and employment law.
  • You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing tailored legal advice to meet client needs.
Requirements
  • To be successful in this role, you should be admitted as a solicitor in Australia or have pending admission. Ideally, you will have 1–2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) from a commercial or construction law background.
  • You must possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as good communication skills to support non-legal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts (e.g., AS 4000 series) is a desirable asset.
