About the Role

We are seeking an individual to fill a Progression Coordinator position.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring students meet academic and administrative requirements for progression.

This role involves overseeing accurate awarding of degrees and academic documents, managing appeals, and handling special considerations.

The successful candidate will also be based at our Melbourne campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Progression Management: Create study plans and monitor course progression; identify at-risk students and coordinate interventions.
  • Awards Coordination: Conduct audits, issue work placement letters, prepare graduand reports, and oversee printing of academic documents.
  • Special Consideration and Appeals: Investigate academic and non-academic appeals; maintain the Special Consideration register.
  • Data Integrity and Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate student records in information systems.
  • Team Management: Distribute workloads, supervise and mentor Progression and Awards Advisors, and foster a positive team culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in education, student administration, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in student course progression and graduation coordination.
  • Proficiency in student management systems and strong understanding of relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication abilities for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
