Job Description

The City of Canterbury Bankstown is one of the largest Councils in NSW with diverse communities. We deliver 28 key services to over 380,000 residents.

We seek a highly skilled Solutions Architect to design and implement innovative technology solutions that align with our digital strategy, lead system architecture planning, and work closely with stakeholders.

This role requires an individual who can design and implement IT solutions that align with business needs, provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle, develop and maintain system architecture blueprints, evaluate and manage third-party solutions, conduct risk assessments and implement security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technology solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Provide expert technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture blueprints.
  • Evaluate and manage third-party technology solutions.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective security measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in IT architecture and solution design.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, databases, and security principles.
  • A proven track record of delivering complex IT solutions.
