Job Description

As a key member of the research systems team, you will be responsible for managing the development, implementation and effective operation of ACU's research information and reporting systems. This includes business process analysis, system specification, design and construction, ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems that contain research data, and interfaces with other systems.

Key responsibilities include determining high level requirements and business processes, and system development to support major research management processes. You will also liaise with software providers, IT and Research Services staff, and develop database queries and preparation of reports from the Research System.

Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require strong technical expertise, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have experience in database management and system development, as well as knowledge of business process analysis and system design.

Relevant qualifications may include a degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. Alternatively, relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
