Job Summary

The Family Youth Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of programs that support vulnerable families and youth.

We are seeking a dedicated leader to manage a team providing frontline support to our community members. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify needs and oversee program delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify specific needs of vulnerable families and youth.
  • Develop and implement programs addressing unique challenges faced by our target population.
  • Manage a team of professionals providing direct support services.
  • Monitor client progress and facilitate case conferences to develop comprehensive support plans.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local agencies, schools and community organizations to strengthen support networks.
  • Assist in developing grant proposals to secure funding for family and youth programs.
  • Oversee grant compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Implement an evaluation framework to assess program effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Leadership and management experience in youth and families or community welfare.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and strong rapport-building skills.
  • Strong case management skills and effective intervention techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Able to negotiate conflict with solution-focused strategies.
  • Highly developed organizational skills.
