About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oncology Pharmacist looking to take the next step in their career. The role will involve working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based medicine and ensure seamless delivery of treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Review patients' oncology protocols and make recommendations for improvement
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with PBS regulations
  • Participate in medication reconciliation processes, including inventory management and stock control
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on their treatment options
  • Contribute to research and clinical trials, developing new treatment protocols and improving patient outcomes
  • Develop strong relationships with clinicians, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting, maintaining high standards of quality assurance
Requirements
  • Experience as an Oncology Pharmacist, preferably in a private healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of PBS regulations and medication guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
