About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Vision Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are blind or have low vision to live the life they choose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group occupational therapy training and intervention programs
  • Deliver and evaluate clients through various interactive and digital assessments
  • Assess and train clients in the use of assistive devices and equipment to perform daily activities
  • Provide advice on low-vision techniques and strategies to improve occupational performance and quality of life

About You

To be successful in this role, you must hold a nationally recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will also have:

  • Knowledge and skills in working with children, adults, and older adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting people to live life on their own terms
