We are seeking a highly skilled and confident General Practitioner (GP) to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department at Quirindi Hospital. As the sole doctor on duty, you will be responsible for managing all presentations from 0800 to 2000, as well as providing triage services during off-hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage ED presentations from 0800 to 2000
- Provide triage services during off-hours
You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling everything from minor ailments to higher-acuity cases. Our hospital is located in a scenic area, with beautiful landscapes and a short drive to Tamworth.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will also require the following qualifications and certifications:
- National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) guidelines
- New South Wales (NSW) Health paperwork (LHD Specific)
- New South Wales (NSW) Health mandatory online training modules
- Proof of immunisations/vaccinations
- Clinical Risk Committee (CRC)
- New South Wales (NSW) Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Medicare Provider number
