Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dairy Manager to lead our dairy department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, including stock management, quality control, and customer service.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Dairy Manager. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will have full accountability for the department's performance, with a focus on achieving sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements.

You will lead, coach, and develop your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the dairy department to achieve sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements
- Develop and implement effective stock management and rotation routines to minimize wastage and shrinkage
- Maintain high-quality standards in the dairy department, including monitoring stock levels, rotation routines, and quality control
- Foster a positive team culture that promotes employee engagement, health, safety, and wellbeing
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints in a professional and timely manner

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Direct/indirect leadership experience, with a proven track record of leading and developing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
