Job Summary

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), wind farms, and critical resource and power infrastructure projects nationwide.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labour tasks safely, including lifting and transporting materials.
  • Support tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, and carpenters with hands-on assistance.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, small plant, and equipment safely.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Carry out general housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Attend pre-start and toolbox meetings.

Requirements
  • A valid driver's licence.
  • A Construction White Card.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team supporting skilled tradespeople.
  • Leading Hand and/or Supervisory experience.
  • A Truck Driver's Licence (HR/HC/MC).
  • High-risk work Licence – WP, CN, DG, RB, LF, SB.
  • Safe Work at Heights certification.
  • Prior experience on construction projects.
  • The ability to read and interpret layout and general arrangement drawings.
