We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Melbourne team. As a key member of our data science team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of data science at Findex.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external clients to deliver innovative solutions.

Your Typical Week
  • Focusing on solution design with 30% hands-on work.
  • Set up data pipelines in the cloud (e.g., using Data Factory in Azure) to integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Provide analytics to assist end-users in better understanding key insights from dashboards, graphs, benchmarks, etc.
  • Identify, create, manage, and maintain analytically rigorous data and automate collection processes.
  • Identify data patterns, trends, and develop predictive models.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proven commercial experience in analytics/data science.
  • Hands-on DataOps/DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
  • Advanced Python programmer.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. This includes flexible working conditions, opportunities for career growth and development, and a collaborative working environment.
