Job Opportunity

Role Overview

This is a key position within our team, requiring an Advanced Gastroenterology Fellow to participate in the provision of out-of-hours on-call rosters for clinical gastroenterology and hepatology services at a registrar/fellow level.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in training and supervision of registrars, resident medical officers, and medical students as outlined in the addendum.
  • Complying with organisational policies, regulations, and standards, including contemporary human resource management issues related to workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity, and anti-discrimination.

The successful candidate will provide expert decision-making, assessing patients, determining appropriate investigations, establishing management plans, and communicating assessment findings and proposed management plans to patients and carers, seeking consent when necessary.
