About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Service Employee to join our team at The Salvation Army Aged Care. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Monitor and respond to changes in residents' health and well-being
  • Complete wound dressings and implement continence programs
  • Conduct routine checks, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and blood sugar
  • Assist with diabetes management and maintain accurate documentation
  • Develop and implement resident care plans in collaboration with the care team
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering person-centered care and has a strong commitment to the values and ethos of The Salvation Army. You will have a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care and current First Aid Certificate, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
