We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Care and Support Professionals to join our team in Mawson to deliver community support home care packages. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care and support to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong desire to provide quality client service and the ability to build rapport with clients;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of clients;
  • Ability to provide assistance with daily living tasks, including transport, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care (if qualified);
  • A highly professional attitude and ability to act in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner;
  • Certificate III Individual Support/Aged Care or equivalent qualification preferable or willingness to obtain;
  • A current police check less than 3 months old or willingness to undertake one with Annecto;
  • A current First Aid and CPR Qualification or willingness to complete prior to employment;
  • A current driver's license and own transport vehicle with comprehensive insurance;
  • A smartphone or tablet;
  • A current Working with Vulnerable People Card or willingness to obtain one;
  • Work rights to work in Australia;
  • Fully COVID-19 vaccinated, including booster.

Prior experience in a similar organisation would be highly regarded, as would the ability to speak a community language. We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

Our estimated annual salary range for this role is between $55,000 to $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes an hourly rate of approximately $26-$30 per hour, based on a 38-hour workweek.
