">Role Overview">

This role involves all aspects of private patent attorney practice, including liaising with inventors and corporate clients, drafting patent specifications, conducting searches, providing patentability, patent infringement and patent validity opinions, and prosecuting patent applications.

">About You">
  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree (with Honours) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechatronics engineering, mining engineering, biomedical engineering, or equivalent.">
  • Current registration as an Australian Patent Attorney and ideally a minimum of 2–4 years' experience post registration.">
  • An excellent communicator with a strong command of written and verbal English.">
  • Ability to understand, critically analyse information and think laterally.">
  • Well organised and self-motivated.">
  • Committed to providing clients with quality advice and service.">
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.">
