Our services include Core Supports, Support Coordination, Assistance with Self Care/Daily Life Activities, Community Participation, Recreation & Groups, and Domestic, Health & Social Home Care Supports.
Job OpportunityWe are seeking support workers/care team members to join our growing care team for our clients in the Whittlesea area of Melbourne.
Multiple shift types are available, and we prefer support workers who can be flexible to provide support in-home & outings as required for the client.
Requirements- Certificate IV in Disability, Community Service, Aged Care
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid certificate and CPR
- NDIS Workers Orientation (preferred)
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Fully COVID Vaccinated (Triple vaccinated) with evidence
- Current full Driver's license
Key Competencies and Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience supporting People with Disability
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to prioritise and organise own work/caseload effectively
- Commitment to professional development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice
