About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Professional to join our dynamic team in Business Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to clients, including HNWI, Family Groups, Trusts, Partnerships, SMEs, and Multi-national Companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of complex financial statements in accordance with tax compliance, accounting, and financial reporting standards.
  • Performing tax planning for clients and providing valuable advice on tax effective accounting, Div7a, FBT, Crypto Tax, CGT, BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, Company tax, DTA, DTL, and more.
  • Supervising junior staff on relevant works and providing tax planning and tax advisory services to clients.
  • Reviewing completed tax returns and identifying non-compliance issues.
  • Assisting with quarterly and annual tax compliance matters.
  • Directly liaising with clients, the ATO, external auditors, and financial advisors.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in Business Services and Tax Advisory. You will have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in Business Services and Tax Advisory, preferably in a boutique, mid-tier, or Big4 firm.
  • Ongoing, near completion, or completed CA/CPA qualifications.
  • Strong dedication to client-centricity and delivering top-tier service.
  • Superlative verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in fostering professional relationships internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated analytical prowess and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective multitasking capabilities for efficient workflow management.
  • Self-motivated, taking charge of personal and professional growth.
  • A team-oriented approach, committed to supporting colleagues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
