The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Product Support Engineer with between 3-7 years of relevant industry experience who has a real passion for technology and innovation. This position is within a growing part of the Engineering team and provides opportunities for building new organizational capability.

As a member of the Electrical Engineering team, this position collaborates with all our important customers, our integration and field service engineers, and our production organization to achieve successful product support and continuously improve our products to service a growing market.

This role will require you to apply problem-solving to respond to stakeholder needs, determine and implement design updates with associated certification as required, plan implementations, and continuously improve Heli Mods' organizational capabilities in test, technical data, and training.

If successful, you will be working on exciting new products for our civil and military clients, and will be responsible within your team for timely, high-quality delivery against challenging project targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct test and reviews of physical products, systems, and PCBAs for embedded systems
  • Generate technical content and associated training for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with design engineers and other stakeholders to address non-compliance issues and develop effective solutions
  • Work with design software and simulation tools for circuit design and analysis (Altium, Zuken)
  • Work with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred)
  • Work with Product Lifecycle Management software (Siemens Teamcenter preferred)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in any relevant engineering discipline, particularly interested in Avionics, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering specialities
  • 3-7 years relevant avionics, electrical, or electronics engineering industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting test and reviews of physical products, systems, and PCBAs for embedded systems
  • Demonstrated experience in technical content generation and associated training for internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles with an ability to advocate for the customer with internal stakeholders
  • Experience with design software and simulation tools for circuit design and analysis (Altium, Zuken)
  • Experience with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred)
  • Experience in Product Lifecycle Management software (Siemens Teamcenter preferred)
