Customer Service Retail Professional

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused retail professional to join our Geelong team. This is a casual position requiring weekend and public holiday availability.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, supervise volunteers, merchandise and price stock, and learn local community preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer experiences to ensure shopper satisfaction.
  • Support volunteers during allocated shifts and ensure store tasks are completed in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an attractive and well-presented store through merchandising and pricing.
  • Gain insights into local community preferences and showcase relevant products.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Ability to open and close the store, balancing cash registers by close of business.
  • Demonstrated experience in retail and customer service environments.
  • Product merchandising and store presentation skills in line with Work Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Understanding of working with and managing volunteers.
  • Cultural sensitivity and diversity awareness.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to complete required training (WHS, Cash Handling, Team Member Purchasing Policy, etc.).
