Teaching Business Management and Economics

We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to deliver the curriculum using explicit instruction methods, staying current with modern teaching practices and relevant frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for teaching Business Management and Economics, and be able to implement evidence-based practices that actively engage students in the learning process. They will also be proficient in using technology as a tool to enhance teaching and learning experiences, and be able to foster a safe, supportive and respectful classroom environment.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • - Curriculum Delivery: Delivering the curriculum using explicit instruction methods.
  • - Pedagogy: Implementing best pedagogical practices while staying current with modern teaching methods and relevant frameworks.
  • - Collaboration and Relationships: Building positive relationships within the school community and collaborating with colleagues to develop blended learning resources and assessments.
  • - Assessment and Professional Development: Using varied assessment tasks to accurately measure student achievement, integrating digital learning tools into their practice, and actively engaging in ongoing professional development.

  • - Collaborative and ambitious striving: Encourage collaboration amongst students and team members so we can create perseverance, critical thinking and creativity.
  • - Modelling curiosity and commitment to deep learning: Demonstrate a passion for learning and inquiry-based thinking. Encourage students to ask questions, explore topics independently, and pursue their interests beyond the classroom.
  • - Extending students' understanding through teacher expertise: Continuously develop your own expertise throughout the use of data, ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
