Job Description

We seek a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Deakin ACT. In this diverse role, you will enjoy flexibility and autonomy while receiving support from a close-knit team of healthcare professionals.

Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological, and supporting them to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Case management, ensuring manageable caseloads and administrative support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes.
  • Collaborating with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Working with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals to achieve successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA.
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • Fabulous communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role.
  • Well-developed time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • A current valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance are necessary.
