Senior Nuclear Medicine Specialist

">Role Overview

This key role involves leading a team of technologists in the production and quality assurance of radiopharmaceuticals, conducting nuclear medicine procedures, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will work within a dynamic environment using advanced technologies such as single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), positron emission tomography (PET), and radiopharmaceutical production and quality control at the cyclotron facility.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals to ensure high standards are met.
  • Conduct nuclear medicine procedures in the medical imaging department with precision and care.
  • Mentor and lead junior technologists to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Work collaboratively with advanced technologies like PET and radiopharmaceutical production and QC.
Key Requirements
  • Prior experience in nuclear medicine is essential.
