Compassionate Mental Health Nurse Wanted

We are seeking a compassionate mental health nurse to join our team at Pine Rivers Private Hospital.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role:

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care that prioritizes patient safety and well-being
  • Liaise effectively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to empower them in managing their health recovery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Critical Care: Deliver nursing care to patients with complex mental health conditions, including addiction, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, PTSD, and chronic pain management
  • Patient Safety: Ensure a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor nursing team members to achieve high-quality patient care and develop their skills and knowledge
  • Education and Support: Provide ongoing education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy coping mechanisms and effective self-management of their condition
