Job Title: Business Analyst

 

Job Description:

Analytical Expertise Required:

You will play a vital role in analysing and interpreting data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement across processes and controls.

  • Document current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) processes for security operations, governance, and compliance workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Technology Security, IT, and business units to gather, validate, and prioritise business and technical requirements.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity and technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights and process documentation.
  • Support the development of dashboards, reports, and metrics to monitor transformation progress and security performance.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs to elicit business needs and pain points.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to align business needs with technical solutions.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of process improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk posture.
  • Contribute to change impact assessments and support communication and training efforts related to new processes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and version control of all process artefacts and analysis outputs.
  • Drive process improvement by documenting such areas of improvement and initiating discussions and/or by ensuring the proposed solution addresses such areas.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data analysis and visualisation using tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in business process modelling using BPMN or similar standards.
  • Familiarity with security tooling and how they integrate into business processes.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within cybersecurity, technology risk, or IT transformation projects.
  • Experience in documenting functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
