We are seeking an Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team in the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in ESG reporting, internal controls, and systems management. You will work closely with various functions and disciplines across the Asia Pacific organization to implement technology solutions for carbon accounting and ESG control and reporting management tools.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert on global regulatory developments related to climate-related disclosures and other ESG matters.
  • Contribute to the global ESG team's efforts to assess existing ESG reporting processes, including input assessment, data capture, controls, and governance.
  • Drive Asia Pacific content for the implementation of technology solutions for carbon accounting and ESG control and reporting management tools.
  • Cascade a highly effective communication strategy across the Asia Pacific organization to ensure a clear understanding of ESG disclosure control principles and guidance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or post-Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting, with 8+ years of demonstrated experience in a finance or CPA/CA position.
  • Experience in ESG reporting, processes, internal controls, systems, and awareness of ESG-related disclosures and industry trends.
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) skills and ability to effectively collaborate at various levels.
  • Adaptive skills, including analytical and strategic thinking, problem-solving, planning, and organization.
