We're seeking an Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team and help us maintain our reputation as a sustainable business. You will be responsible for delivering on our strategic environment commitments and reporting requirements related to climate change, resource efficiency, and other elements of our Sustainability Strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and calculating environmental data and metrics, including identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in data collection and reporting.
- Analysis, modelling, and forecasting in relation to environmental data.
- Collaborating internally and externally with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders on environmental topics.
- Supporting environment disclosures, including the Sustainability Report, NGER, CDP, Climate Active, TCFD, APC, and other voluntary and compliance reporting requirements.
- Supporting internal environment reporting in relation to environment data and metrics.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have demonstrable knowledge and experience related to environmental data and reporting at a corporate level across some or all of NGER, APC, CDP, Climate Active, and TCFD. Significant experience of relevant carbon accounting frameworks is also essential.
You'll work closely with our business stakeholders to compile datasets and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data and reporting systems. Your analytical skills will enable you to convert data into actionable insights that drive business value.
A strong understanding of trends in industry, emerging risks, and opportunities related to the environment is crucial. Proven skills in research, strategic analysis, and synthesis of complex information are also necessary.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires broad business experience contributing to change programs across customer-facing and delivery functions in a large, complex environment. Experience working on program implementation to deliver customer and business outcomes is highly valued.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds.
