Nurse Care Specialist

The role of the Registered Nurse encompasses delivering high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals and health facilities. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, the nurse is responsible for providing patient-centered care that caters to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans as needed
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians or other authorized healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the National Nurses and Midwives Registration Board
- Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to identify key messages, issues, and concerns when communicating with others
- Ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and guide others in providing service excellence
- Capacity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations
- Strong computer skills, including Internet and email, and familiarity with health information systems
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety, and quality principles and the role of the Registered Nurse in applying these principles
