Teaching Role

We are seeking a skilled educator to join our workforce at Liberty Avenue Kindergarten.

  • We operate as a not for profit organisation and are owned and run by the community.
  • The kindergarten has been in operation in Rowville for almost 30 years, offering funded sessional care to local children.
  • The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, hold permanent residency in Australia and understand the planning cycle.
  • This role involves working Wednesday and Friday with non contact time every second Thursday, requiring the ability to inform our centre's Quality Improvement Plan and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in care.
  • The educator will play a key role in informing our centre's Quality Improvement Plan and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the planning cycle
  • Inform our centre's Quality Improvement Plan
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in care

Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood education recognised by ACECQA
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Mandatory Reporting requirements
