Trade Supervisor Job Summary

This role requires a proactive and dedicated individual to oversee and manage inmates in a Ground Maintenance Unit, promoting their work skills, post-release employment prospects, and contributing to business objectives.

The Trade Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring productivity efficiency, meeting commercial objectives, and maintaining a safe working environment while adhering to Workplace Health & Safety, Quality Management requirements, and customer service standards.

• Supervise and manage inmates in various trade-related activities, promoting their development and enhancing their skills.
• Develop and implement training programs for inmates and staff, focusing on skill enhancement and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct daily operations and manage resources efficiently to achieve planned outcomes, ensuring the unit runs smoothly and effectively.
• Maintain a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating hazards, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
