Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive asset performance improvement by implementing reliability and maintenance engineering principles.

The ideal candidate will provide support to the maintenance crew on breakdowns and champion root cause analysis (RCA), FMECA, and system analysis.

This senior role will also require a good understanding of the asset management framework and will develop the asset management plan, defining the asset life cycle requirements for a safe, reliable and consistent rail operation.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing reliability and maintenance engineering principles to drive asset performance improvement.
  • Providing support to the maintenance crew on breakdowns and championing root cause analysis (RCA), FMECA, and system analysis.
  • Developing the asset management plan, defining the asset life cycle requirements for a safe, reliable and consistent rail operation.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Electrical or Communication Engineering or equivalent with recognition or membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia.
  • Proven experience in the maintenance and/or maintenance planning of Voice, Data, Radio, and LTE Mobile Communications Systems including CCTV Systems, Customer Information Systems and good knowledge of Communications Systems and Standards within a rail or similarly complex environment.
  • Good conceptual and analytical skills.
