Underground Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Alternate Project Manager. This role will involve supporting the Project Manager in ensuring the overall project performance, safety, and productivity of site personnel.

• This includes developing and maintaining a positive safety culture consistent with industry standards, managing site-based functions such as maintenance, mining engineering, and financial management.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in underground mining, significant experience managing and executing mining contracts, and strong commercial, technical, and service delivery skills.

We require candidates to possess a high level of knowledge in risk and safety management systems and processes associated with mining operations, including Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency or First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency.

Additional qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) and Senior First Aid Certificate. A current and valid Manual Australian Drivers Licence is also required.
