Our team at the Terrace Cafe is seeking a friendly and positive Cafe Attendant to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the cafe, interacting with customers, and supporting the cafe team.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and drinks efficiently and safely.
- Take orders accurately and operate a point of sale terminal effectively.
- Handle cash transactions securely and perform EFTPOS operations proficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Support the cafe team with a 'can do' attitude and contribute to a positive work culture.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food preparation and presentation to a high standard.
- Proven cash handling and EFTPOS skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Flexible availability to cover personal and annual leave, ensuring seamless team coverage.
Desirable Skills:
- A working knowledge of kitchen hygiene principles and practices.
- A current Safe Food Handling Certificate.
- A First Aid Certificate.
- A Barista Certificate for added value.
