Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery team at Northern Beaches Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to neonates who require specialized medical and nursing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective care to neonates in our Level 4 Special Care Nursery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
- Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the unit, adhering to Healthscope and site policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in neonatal care
- Post Graduate Certificate in neonatal nursing or willingness to undertake
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
