Job Title: Financial Strategy Lead

About the Role:

Melbourne Airport is entering a significant phase of growth, with an expanded capital investment program that will shape the future of aviation in Victoria.

To support this growth agenda, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Strategy Lead to join our high-performing Finance team.

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in the execution of Melbourne Airport's financing strategy, ensuring the organisation is market-ready to fund its ambitious growth plans.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading APAC's funding strategy and execution, including debt management and refinancing activities.
  • Building and managing relationships with banks, ratings agencies, debt investors, and internal senior stakeholders.
  • Preparing high-quality Board papers, investor materials, and governance reporting.
  • Overseeing financial risk management, liquidity, and long-term planning.
  • Coaching and developing the Treasury team, fostering a culture of capability and collaboration.

What You Will Achieve:

You will play a key role in maintaining APAC's credit ratings, ensuring strong investor engagement, and upholding Treasury policy and governance requirements.

This role offers both strategic influence and hands-on execution in a complex, dynamic environment.
