As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team, providing high-quality care to clients in the Melbourne and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Living Assistance: Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting, ensuring they live comfortably at home.
  • Nutrition Support: Prepare meals and support clients with nutrition, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to ensure clients feel valued and comfortable in their own homes.
  • Transportation: Drive clients to appointments and social activities, and travel between clients' homes, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Household Assistance: Assist with light household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Health Monitoring: Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing to the Registered Nurse, ensuring timely intervention and support.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in community or in-home care assistance.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care.
  • A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • An NDIS Screening Check (preferred).
  • A driver's license and own car with comprehensive insurance.
