About the Role


As a Cloud Storage Architect at Microsoft, you will play a critical role in designing and developing system software that manages storage services in Azure.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:



  • Designing and implementing system software that meets the needs of our customers, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop well-defined interfaces across multiple components, leveraging data and telemetry to make informed decisions.
  • Ensuring that services and components are secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored, and reusable.
  • Developing and following playbooks, working on call to monitor systems for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, and initiating actions to restore them when necessary.

What You'll Need



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Experience in design, development, debugging, testing, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle periodic live service on-call responsibilities.
  • A track record of solid results across multiple ship cycles.
