Job Overview

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead the mechanical maintenance team and coordinate contractor activities to ensure operations run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop short- to medium-term maintenance schedules via MEX software.
  • Coordinate resources, materials, and tooling for efficient task execution.
  • Monitor progress, respond to unplanned downtime, and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee external contractors and service providers to ensure site safety and quality standards.
  • Manage contractor permitting, performance, and communication.
  • Provide supervision and technical guidance to the mechanical maintenance team.
  • Lead by example in safety, quality, and professional standards.
  • Support incident investigations and equipment troubleshooting.
About You

You're a hands-on leader with experience in mechanical maintenance, planning, and contractor management.

To be successful, you will have:

  • A trade qualification in mechanical or maintenance engineering.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and scheduling.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency with MEX or similar CMMS tools.
  • Experience with contractor permitting and external service management.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
