Are you looking for a dynamic and physically demanding role that involves operating heavy machinery? As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for loading, unloading and transporting steel building materials using forklifts. Your primary objective will be to ensure efficient stock handling, stacking and material movement within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to move stock around the warehouse
  • Assist with general yard operations including stock handling, stacking and material movement
  • Participate in manual cutting and preparation of steel products
  • Maintain a high level of organisation and tidiness within the warehouse area
  • Ensure strict adherence to workplace health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift licence - mandatory
  • Competent in operating Counterbalance and Combilift (side-load) forklifts
  • Hubtex forklift experience preferred
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
  • Full Australian working rights (citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa)
  • Reliable transport to Huntingwood
  • Strong physical fitness and endurance
