About the Marketing Role

CQUniversity is seeking a Marketing Officer to join their Global Brand and Marketing Directorate.

The successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of advertising and marketing materials across the University, reviewing requests, offering marketing advice, writing and editing content, and ensuring creative and written output aligns with brand and style guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and advising on marketing requests from internal stakeholders
  • Writing and editing content for various marketing channels
  • Assisting in the development of resources for internal teams
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of advertising and marketing campaigns

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • An Associate Diploma in marketing, communications or a related field and at least two years subsequent work experience (or equivalent) including advertising and production, marketing campaigns, copywriting and project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate, and collaborate effectively.
  • Proven experience in advertising and production media, including print, digital, and promotional materials.
  • Proficiency in business support software (e.g. Microsoft Suite and project management tools) and the ability to learn new systems
