Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist

A dedicated Occupational Therapist is sought to contribute to a multidisciplinary team providing person-centred care to clients. The ideal candidate will possess a Degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.

The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals, developing individualised treatment plans, and collaborating with clients and their families to ensure holistic support.

Key qualifications include a valid Australian driver's licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans and intervention strategies to maximise independence, functional capacity, and quality of life.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop person-centred care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance daily living skills, cognitive abilities, mobility, and self-care.
  • Provide education and support to clients, caregivers, and support workers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Stay informed about latest research and best practices.
