Job Role:

Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to support our clients in the underground mine-based industry.

  • Maintain equipment by performing diagnostics and repairs, testing and adjusting of equipment in operation, auditing and reporting of underground equipment, commissioning equipment on clients' sites, and training client personnel.
  • Qualifications include passing a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen, being flexible to travel to various sites as required, holding a current driver's licence and being able to work in Australia, demonstrating high technical/mechanical aptitude and a proven level of customer service, exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good understanding of computer systems, possessing original equipment manufacturer experience and field service exposure.

This role reports to the Operations Manager and involves supporting existing customers and developing these relationships to optimize equipment availability and reliability. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment, training and assisting clients, preventative maintenance inspection reporting, and commissioning new equipment.
