Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our medical and oncology ward. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with senior staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication among healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure seamless care coordination and promote a positive patient experience.
  • Patient Education and Support: Provide personalized education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care and well-being.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and support junior staff members, including orientating new hires and precepting students, to ensure a smooth transition into the role and promote professional growth.

You will possess a registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, along with recent acute inpatient experience and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
