Salary

The successful candidate can expect a competitive weekly wage of around NZD $40-$60 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating a forklift in accordance with site safety standards and procedures
  • Loading and unloading pallets from transport vehicles, as well as loading of palletising equipment
  • Picking, stacking, and staging of product for load building
  • Paper reel handling from containers and curtain siders through to warehousing and production use
  • Use of electronic inventory management tools such as scanners and tablets
  • Participation in stocktake activities and inventory control processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Forklift Certificate is essential, and high reach is a bonus
  • Minimum of 2 years forklift operating experience in manufacturing/warehouse operations
  • Completion of Forklift Attachment Training is highly desirable
  • Good attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
  • Capability of time management and ensuring deadlines are met
